Ramakrishna Matric. Hr. Sec. Schoolwas inaugurated in the year 1970 under the name of Great Saint SRI RAMAKRISHNA PARAMAHAMSA, by Smt.K.VISALAKSHI and Sri.S.KRISHNAMURTHY.The School had only primary classes at the beginning. This is the first private School in Madhavaram area. It has then gradually grown as a Matriculation school by the co-operation of the parents, public and its staff members. Now this school has crossed 50 mile stones. It has been recognized as a Matriculation School by the Government of Tamil Nadu in the year 1986. It is sponsored by RAMAKRISHNA MATRIC SCHOOL TRUST.The School was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School in the year 1996. Five groups have been introduced at the Hr.Sec. Level. “Education is the Root; Culture is the Flower; Wisdom is the Fruit.” This is the aim of our School. Education must be character building and also should develop mental and physical faculties. It must bring up high scholastic and academic standards. Our School curriculum is so designed to suit the above objectives. Our founders got many awards from various organizations as a mark of appreciation for their untiring service in the educational field.
